Please join us for an evening with special guest, the Honorable Sheriff of Los Angeles County, Robert Luna, and a panel of locally-elected officials from diverse cities across Los Angeles County, as we examine how Public Policy promotes the common good, for our flourishing and for the kingdom of God.
Whether we are aware of it or not, public policy affects all of our daily lives. Crime and public safety, homelessness, roads and transit, water and sewer, parks and public spaces–all of these are within the sphere of local government, the government closest to the people. Civic leaders have an important duty to enact good policy that ensures the best quality of life for the people they serve.
As part of CFWLA’s vision to reframe vocation and reshape culture, we invite you to join us for this Reimagining Work series focused on exploring the intersection of faith and public policy in greater Los Angeles.
Doors open at 6:15 PM. Hors d'oeuvres will be provided along with time to connect with fellow attendees and our speakers. The event will begin promptly at 7:00 PM.
