Here, Steve shares a prayer for students. As they are being ushered into the new academic year, join us in prayer over them, that while each student's mind is being sharpened, a strong, Christ-centered, foundation will be instilled within them.

Father in heaven,

Awaken in all students a curiosity about your vision for this world and a hunger to learn through their studies the many ways to love and serve you and display glimpses of your beauty and nature. Cultivate their imagination to see you as the ultimate creator and worker in whose image we are to bear in all we do in life.

Make their campus a place where men and women learn virtue rather than vice, fruitful industriousness rather than self-indulgence, innovation that blesses rather than exploits, and courage rather than conformity.

May these students be challenged by great books and ideas, and that they would be good stewards of their freedom and opportunities to grow.

And bless them as they seek to love and serve you as they head towards life in the marketplace, the academy, the studio, the halls of government, and every sector of public life. May they reflect you well out into this world you love, and may they make it their life’s aim to help others to do the same – all to the glory of our great God, our King, and Savior Jesus.
